Our Favorite White Paint Colors

There’s no secret white walls are most desired right now. And for good reason. They provide a perfectly clean backdrop for any season or style each year brings. White walls pair beautifully with just about everything. From furniture, art work, rugs, light fixtures, natural light, etc. If you’re anything like me, you probably love that bright and natural light that shines through windows at different times of the day. There’s just something so fresh about the natural light reflecting onto the white walls. We believe white walls can stand the test of time and last for years without going out of style. We’ve rounded up a handful of our favorite white paint colors that we stand by for interior walls.

  • Sherwin Williams Alabaster

  • Sherwin Williams Snowbound

  • Sherwin Williams Pure White or Extra White for trim

  • Sherwin Williams Eider White

In our home, we have alabaster on the walls with alabaster on our trim as well. Our walls are a low sheen and our trim is an oil based semi gloss. We did this for a super sleek look. We didn’t want the trim to look whiter than the walls. We wanted one color on the wall so that our creamy cabinets would stand out next to the walls. Snowbound is also a stunning white, we almost went with it, too. Maybe on our next house. Eider White is what we used on our exterior color. This is a great bright and crisp white option. Pure White or Extra White are best used for trim. I would not recommend either of these paint colors for a wall color. They are simply too bright and look almost cold because there isn’t a hint of warmth mixed in.
