What every guest room needs
Every guest room should include the following essentials to ensure a comfortable and welcoming stay for your guests!
Comfortable bed. The bed should be comfortable, with clean sheets, blankets, and pillows. Provide extra pillows and blankets to accommodate different sleeping preferences.
Fresh towels. Provide fresh towels, including hand towels and washcloths, for your guests to use during their stay. Bonus if they smell good! I love to wash all our towels in Diva Wash. Provide a basket or shelf for your guests to store their towels and toiletries on, either in the bedroom or bathroom.
Toiletries!! Stock the guest bathroom with essential toiletries such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, make up wipes and toilet paper. This small detail really goes a long way and lets your guest know you thought of them and anything they might need during their stay.
Adequate storage for all the things. Provide plenty of storage space such as a closet or dresser, for your guests to store their belongings during their stay. A suitcase stand or empty closet are nice as well. Especially if guests are staying longer than a few days.
Window treatments and coverings. Provide window treatments such as curtains or blinds to ensure privacy and to block out light.
Snacks and drinks. This is going the extra mile but makes all the difference. by providing snacks and drinks such as bottled water, tea, coffee, and granola bars for your guests to enjoy during their stay. Would also be a great idea if the guest room had a spot for a mini coffee maker!
By providing these essentials in your guest room, you can create a comfortable and welcoming environment for your guests, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable stay!
